Ever heard of the Kurl Friends? Well, those were the gorgeous ladies behind the Kinks & Kurls Expo 2017. This naturalista get together fell nothing short of awesome, interesting and fun. It being our first Expo, we were wowed by the organisation, the beautiful products that were on display and the naturalistas that kept moving all over Maria’s Place.
Th Brunch was catered by Hannat of the Food Library. Unfortunately, we don’t have pictures to show you, but believe me when i say that it was something to write home about.
Furthermore, the Expo hosted hair masters classes that were themed. ‘Its not that hard!’ These basically entailed the moderators showcasing hairstyles that enable all ladies to embrace and enjoy their natural hair.
Then came the exhibitors. We were so impressed and amazed at how many natural hair product producers we have in Uganda. Who is Shea Moisture? (lol, i joke). But real talk, i had a product haul and i will surely review these products soon. Without prejudice to all the other exhibitors, i really loved Kweli Skin Organics, Lake House, Kentaro, Livara, The Moisture Well and Asilia.
